For 7 years, I've suffered depression. I have a variety of moods; they tend to 'swing' alot. I cry myself to sleep, and I have a hard time getting up in the morning. I sleep at school, and just about all the time. I've had many thoughts of suicide and diying, and I have written death notes...My jealousy runs a mile long, and I overreact when I'm mad...I nearly pounded a little kid today because they said something to me that I didn't like. Last, but not least; I have effing fantasies about haveing sex. Sometimes before I go to bed, I pretend I'm having sex with someone. Since I have OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) I'm scared than if I acctually try sex, I might go overboard and want more. Anyways, I talked about this all with my parents, and they BOTH said I'm an attention whore. >>; Or maybe, is this just teenager hormones?

It sounds a lot to me like she has a few problems. I think there's a good chance your daughter is schizophrenic if she is hallucinating. She clearly also suffers from paranoia and anxiety and as of recently, even depression. Based on everything you listed here, who knows what else she really has. You need to set up an appointment with a counselor and get a professional opinion. Letting things like this go untreated could be very dangerous for your daughter and those around her. Mental disorders can easily escalate when not addressed. Good luck to you and your little girl.

LET ME FIRST SAY THAT YOUR PROBLEMS SOUND SO FAMILIAR. FOR ME IT STARTED AROUND THE AGE OF 11. I FELT LIKE I WAS CRAZY, I TRIED TO COMMIT SUICIDE 3 TIMES. THE LAST TIME I TRIED I ENDED UP IN A MENTAL HOSPITAL AT 12. TO BE HONEST THE HOSPITAL DIDN'T HELP AND NIETHER DID THE MEDS. I SUFFERED ON AND OFF TILL I WAS 16. I WAS MISERABLE ALL THE TIME. SO I KNOW WHERE YOU'RE COMING FROM. WHAT SAVED ME, HONESTLY WAS JESUS. I HIT BOTTOM AND HAD NO WHERE TO GO BUT UP. HE HELPED ME TO SURVIVE FOR A WHILE THEN HE GAVE ME JOY, AND NOW AT 24 I HAVE A PEACE THAT I KNOW FOR A FACT WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE WITHOUT HIM. MY ADVICE TO YOU IS TO START OUT IN JOHN, ITS THE FIRST BOOK IN THE LAST TESTAMENT. ALSO PSALMS AND PROVERBS HELPS AND GIVES COMFORT. ALSO A SIGHT THAT HELPS ME DAILY IS WWW.KCM.ORG. THEY HAVE WEBCASTS AND PEOPLE TO HELP YOU ONLINE OR ON THE PHONE. DON'T GET ME WRONG IT'S NOT GONNA BE A CAKE WALK AS SOON AS YOU COMMIT TO JESUS, ITS STILL GONNA BE HARD BUT THE GOOD TIMES WILL DEFINETLY OUT WEIGH THE BAD. I REALLY HOPE THIS HELPS. JUST REMEMBER YOU HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE.

Congratulations, you're human. These are things that a lot of teenages deal with. I'm sorry your parents aren't being more understanding. They should be helping you out, not insulting you. I would recommend going to someone you seek out for advice. Also, don't go out and screw everyone. That will just lead to regret. Try to control the urges.

You are a product of your upbringing, if you are unhappy then it is up to you to discover why, perhaps a councilor or even a good friend can help you through this difficulty. If I were you, I would replace the parental advice with a councilor, they don't seem to be helping you any by calling you names. It might be interesting for you to review how your parents affect you - and to keep humble, look into how your grandparents affected your parents.

Do you actually have an OCD diagnosis, or do you have a friend who acts just like you that does and you just say it?

If you really have seen someone, and really have OCD...then they should've spotted this too...

Honestly, to me, it sounds like teenage hormones or attention needy without a past of seeing a shrink.

It may be helpful to see a professional who can analyze the feelings that you're having. Sometimes it helps just to talk to someone who isn't biased in anyways because they don't know you personally. Then see what happens from there.

Are you being treated for Manic depression & bipolar disorder?
If your not, & you were my daughter, I'd carry you to see a doctor. There are meds to help you.
