It doesn't help that I live next door to him and go to the same church. It's a long story, but basically it comes down to this: we can't date because it is against church rules. There is no chance of us being together unless Jeff (the guy) feels that God has told him that I am the one for him. In other words, I need to get over him. But I can't! :(

Can you date anyone at all? Or is it the same religous thing for you?
If you can date- find another interest. If this guy is waiting for God to tell him who the "one" is it may be a wait. God is alittle busy with other issues like war and Aids to bless a boys love life.
I promise if you find another guy soon this Jeff will be praying to God you are the one since he will see you hand and hand with anther guy

HANG IN THERE, YOU NEVER NO IF IT MEANT TO HAPPEN
IT WILL. SO JUST TALK IT SLOW AND THINGS WILL GET
A LOT BETTER AS TIME GO ON.
