i dont know if its just me or what, but i can never finish all my homework. it took me over 3hrs just to get my scrapbook done for english and i still had 60 problems in math and chemistry to do. by the end of the day im exhausted, and usually still not done. why do teachers pile on the homework and dont consider that the student probably has other homework besides their class to do?

It's a matter of time management.

I'll give you some tips. Start doing homework at school, while waiting for your next class, during breaks..whenever you have spare time. Ur social life doesnt have to suffer. just allocate time for both studies and ur friends.

When you get home, give urself a little time to space out. Relax for about 10 minutes then start working. Do not put things later, as u wud tend to not do it at all.

Start with the subject u feel good about, this will be your motivation. Give urself a time limit, like 2 hours for this only, etc. u have to double time to reach that goal. if in that time, ur not finished, stop and go to the next assignment. Same thing, time limit. Then go back to the things u have not finished after doing everything.

But...that doesnt work in all occasions and for all people. If u are the type who would rather finish one job first, then so be it.

Try multitasking. If you can do something while doing another thing, it would lessen your load. and do not ever procrastinate.

If i were you, i would have started with the math problem first then the chem because i dont do good at math. upon starting homework, i still have the energy to think hard. i like chem although im no genius at it, at least i have a motivation. And i would do the scrapbooking last because, i like doing crafts. i would like to start on it asap that i would hurry doing up math and chem, not sacrificing quality, of course. Scrapbooking would call for creatvity and hand skill. In other words, i would like to take my time on it.So there...i arrive to having one choice: to finish the scrapbook or to sleep already. I would hurry finishing the scrapbook and i would go to sleep safe and secure...no need to make up excuses for an unfinished assignment..:)

good luck

You get homework so you can practice what you learned in class, so it doesn't go in one ear and out the other.

You probably have a few hours to do all your work. Soon, I'm going to go back to my grueling schedule of work and school. I'm going to have to get up at 7am to get ready for work and come home at 9:30pm because I go to school directly after work. Then I eat and shower, only getting one hour while my hair dries to do stuff.

Most of the time i don't have enough time..i stay up pretty late and only get 5-6 hours of sleep a day...pretty unfortunate when you're supposed to have 8. and even on weekends i sleep seven hours.

I'm lucky, at my high school I have three classes a day. An odd day (all odd schedules that day) even day (all even schedules the next) so I have TWO days to do my homework!!! LUCKY ME!!!

Perhaps if you spent less time on Yahoo Answers asking questions, you would have more time to do homework.

Scrapbooking for English class? That seems more like an art class.
