...they drove by, then came back and did a crazy doghnut in front of the house. They peeled off afterward and they were all whooping, swearing, and being just plain reckless! My uncle closed the gate when they left and thats when I came by for a visit but I was locked out. My uncle opened the gate for me and told me what happend. They never came back afterward but I have a feeling that they are going to come back again late tonight. What should I do? I live on the rez in Newcomb, NM where it is just a desert with dirt roads, hogans, and small houses which are 10 miles apart. My uncles house is in the middle of nowhere and those drunk guys might be back to do something worse than before. Can anyone help me with this? Any answers, I mean ANY answers on this would be MOST appreciated! Thanks!!! I don't want any of my family members hurt by these drunk guys.

Police is not tight around here they only come in an "real emergancy" as they call it.

My uncles job is to control wild horses out here that do not have ownership papers and ship them out to the market. I think that my uncle took guys horses without them knowing, and now they are trying to get revenge or something.

Okay its about 11:00 pm when I posted this and so far nowone has came. But that's not going to give me any reason to fall asleep. I'm going to stay up all night and keep a good lookout. Hope they don't come back...

Call the sheriff's office. If the drunks don't come back, at least the incident is on record in case anything more happens in the future.
If they do come back, then the patrol will already have been notified, and there might be a deputy somewhere in the area.

This is a very bizarre question, and I have a feeling that most of the details are omitted. I have a hard time believing that random drunk guys in a truck have chosen to harass "just" your family for no reason.
However, I would do the logical thing and call the police. Give them a description of the vehicle and they will be on the lookout.

WoW!!! nicely i presumed MY husband became a mommas boy! you have married your self to an fairly immature mommas boy. The bible even says a guy is to flow away his mothers and dads and cleave to his spouse. you will no longer be able to stay as a married couple and make a family individuals if he purely must be up under his momma constantly. Is he nevertheless breastfeeding? in line with risk thats why he's there constantly LOL. Sorry yet for real, you will spend something of your marriage in opposition along with his mom in case you do no longer placed a end to it now. i'm coping with that now and its a no win situation. Maybe you should call police. Do you know who these guys are? And do you know why they have singled your family out? If so, tell the police. Close the 'gates' again, lock the doors. Uh! Glad I don't live out there.

I would lock all the doors and keep a cell phone in my pocket so that I could call the police as soon as possible if something happens.

Doughnuts in the front lawn first of all is a decent reason for calling the cops. Otherwise, just buy a shotgun like most rural area southerners do...

if they come back you cant do anything unless they come onto your property. if they come onto your property and you feel threatened call the police! in my opinion they were just some teenage kids out late having fun and tryin to scare some people!
