Good question. We should always reflect on the positive things that happen to us everyday.
The most wonderful thing that happened to me today was playing "guess the animal" with the 4-year-old son. It's such a fun game to play with a bright child.

I keep getting mail addressed to someone in the next zip code with checks in it. today instead of sticking it in the mail box I decided to deliver it and explain that it keeps happening. I got there and it was a small church. I talked to one of the people there and told him it was most likely the zip code, but I keep getting these checks. He was really nice and we talked for a bit and got along just fine. Then when I got home I realized I had my "Satan Inside" T-shirt on. I thought it was wonderful.

My wife is 40, and today she got her drivers license for the first time. It's the greatest thing that happened to me because I got to share her happiness.

Standing bathed in sunlight through the backdoor, stroking my toddler daughters little blonde head, as she chatted away pointing to the cat. My old dad trudged up the garden path, with his shopping, and she went into spasms of joy....waving, jumping up and down and his face lit up with a huge smile too. That little interaction made my day.

I donated blood to the red cross for the first time today and it wasn't that bad of an experience. I might do it again.
