If they are legal why shouldn't they?
Contradicting question my friend...

1. Legal, yes.
2. Illegal, no.

If they are paying taxes, have a US ID, and are Americanized, why not? We must remember, there was no such thing as someone living today in America who is 100% American. Native Americans have Asian Blood, and most of the rest of us came from Europe. Humans did not exist in America before the Ice Age. Everyone has a little immigrant in them!

If they care enough to learn English, get a dwelling of some sort, and attain legal status, then why should they not be allowed jobs? They cared enough to Americanize themselves, therefore they should be allowed all American rights!

Yes they should since that is one of the things we dont like about illegal ones. Legal immigrants must be able to work to make it here. Why would we allow them to come here if they are not allowed to work?

I think all legal immigrants should be forced to reach at least lvl 5 in this thing before being allowed to work.

Gee, no other nation allows illegal immigration. I guess we don't care about our sovereignty.

We could find a way to make it work: but that was Bush's idea and so the liberals and the conservatives will ignore the idea of legal guest worker programs...

Its almost comical how Americans want supply and demand to lower prices, but don't see the irony in the whole immigration thing...

More people to work, less jobs, less money per job

Why shouldn't they? The government is the one letting them in and they are coming here legally after completing the proper paperwork unlike the border crashers. They have every right to work.

That's why they're legal immigrants... aren't they? They have the same rights and obligations of American citizens.
