I agree, but you know what ? This is a game for unbelievers to try to make a believer angry and then point the finger at us and expose fault. By the way that is exactly what Satan does to God also .....He laughs when we fall and accuses us before the Father but remember we have the blood of Christ that washes our sins. Lessen to be learned.....You have to think of a church like a hospital that is a place for the ill. We are not righteous by nature and every day we sin the difference is we go to the Father for forgiveness and our sins are covered.. Don't let the persecution get you ....rejoice and know your a servant of the Lord

Which "god" are you referring to when you ask "Who believes in God here?" There are many gods. Some ignorant people actually believe the God of the Christians is the same as the god of the muslims, which is not true. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit is the One true God.

With all due respect (and I mean it, no irony), some people will be annoyed just because we say we don't agree. I've been insulted all day long by someone, just because I said I don't want to go to heaven if it existed. I mean, you may agree or not (surely you won't). But you cannot take insult from that. Or else, you're forcing us not to utter a single word of all we think. You see, one thing is saying all Christians are such-and-such, or all atheists are such-and-such (which I never say, and I always combat) and something else is saying I live by other principles and I don't accept in MY life your principles. Live your life as you want, but don't force me to live MY life as you want. Right?
Let me ask you a question here. Would you be annoyed for what I said above? In disagreement, of course. Worried for my soul, maybe. But annoyed? Angry? Would it justify half a dozen mails full with foul language?

I have great respect for all religions. I have great respect for the teachings of Jesus Christ. I feel some people need a more formal church setting. To quote Jimmy Buffet, "One man's cathedral is another man's fishing hole." To me, God and religion are like Jack Sparrow's compass. It may not always point north, but it points you where you need to go.

Hey, heres a thought. Maybe people that DONT believe in your "god" are always spouting out hateful stuff because you and your fellow cult followers are constantly running around, full of arrogance, trying to take over the world and force everyone to believe in your cult. Ever think of that?

I believe in God, I know him to be true and for those who don't, I really wish they would switch to a different catagory, if you don't believe in God, the one and only true God Jehova, the God that inspired the birth of this nation, the God in whom we trust, the God in whom we are nation under God indivisible for liberty and justice for all, then you have no religion or spirituallity, so why would you even be in this section of yahoo answers? Oh wait , I know it's because you know deep down in your heart that God is real, and you know that you're damned for hell, and you want to drag others with you, get thee behind us satan, in God we trust!!!!!!!!1

Good point! I never understand why we can't just have a dialog between believers and unbelievers. They get so hateful of Christians. It doesn't bother me though, I think it is sad that they try so hard to discredit us and they can't. It boosts my faith to come here and be able to defend my faith and my Lord Jesus Christ. It has made me stronger.

As long as you respect others, you should get respect...but if you wish to force your beliefs on others..then you are on your own....I feel more people should be open-minded.
