I have seen many healings in my church. Some poeple are healed by God instantly, and some not.Take me,for instance.I suffered with IBS(Irritable Bowel Syndrome) for almost 4 years. In that time, I prayed and my church prayed for my healing. Finally, one night at church my pastor called me up to the altar and said that God was going to heal me.He asked for laying on of hands from the congregation, and they all prayed. I did not instantly feel a difference in my condition, but I claimed that healing and thanked God for it,faith believing that I was healed, even though I didn't feel any warm tingling sensation that many say they feel during a healing. Each day that has passed since that night,I continued to claim God's healing and thanking Him for it. In less than a week,I was no longer feeling the devastating pain and sickness caused by IBS.Because of my faith,God had healed me.That was about a month ago,and I still have no symptoms.Sometimes God doesn't heal you right away, to test your faith.
Another example is my daughter. When she was 4 months old,she was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. The doctors told me she wouldn't live to be 7. My pastor was with us at the hospital at the time, and my family,my pastor and I all prayed for her healing. We asked the docs to retest her,and they did, reluctantly.I can still see the looks on their faces when they came back with a negative result.God had completely healed my sweet little girl. She is now a thriving, beautiful young woman of 19 years.
I don't know why God heals some people right away, and others wait for their healings, but I do know that if your faith is strong and you wait until God's time,He will heal you.God has a reason for everything He does or doesn't do,and I've learned not to quesion His perfect will.
Right now,my Mom is fighting her third bout of cancer, and she has Congestive Heart Failure. She is a devout Christian. We pray for her healing, and we know she will be healed. But like she said.God may heal her body while she is here on Earth,or He could heal her by taking her home to Heaven.Either way,she is healed, and she will no longer be suffering. But best of all,she will finally be home where she longs to be.Those are her words, and they touched me deeply.Of course I'm not ready to let go of my Mom,but she is such an inspiration to all of us,and her faith in knowing she is going to a better place just serves to strengthen my own faith.God has been so good to me and my family, and so many countless others that I know. Please, just keep your faith strong.God hears your prayers, and He will answer. He may test your faith, and it may take time, but just believe that God has His reasons, and in His time,He will reveal them to you.

Why do you have to go to a church in the first place? You don't you know. Most churches I know of don't have an angel there. They practice religion and not the Word of God.
If you want a healing you have to go to God in prayer. If God wants you to be healed He'll heal you. Or He may want you to do what His Word says. Go to the elders of His people and have them lay hands on you and in the power of the name of Jesus Christ through their faith you will be healed instantly.
People must separate themselves from churchianity and get into Christianity. Go with God. Make God number one in your life. Not a religion.
You can have everything you need with God><>

This is one of the mysteries of life as a christian.. Sometimes God chooses to heal and sometimes not. We are instructed to pray for the sick and their healing, the rest is up to God. Sometimes people don't have any faith that God will heal them.. There are many many answers, but God heals in many different ways also..

it is always up to God as to when or how or through whom He will heal someone. He is often more interested in our character development than healing every malady--it is usually through the hard stuff that we learn strength, patience, perseverance and faith....we are told to keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking, but we must put that with the scripture in Matthew that say "seek ye the kingdom of God, and all these things will be added unto you.." we have to keep first things first---HIM..and trust Him to do what is best for us........

while some people would say the cheesy "god works in mysterious ways" i say your body only heals what it has the capability to heal. your body cant cure cancer by itself, or the plague, or any other serious disease.
