From what I read on here, a upstanding loving moral atheist wouldn't call people names.
You sure about this?

I do seem to feel a lot of hatred coming from these atheist people. How sad. There is already enough hatred to go around. We are all here together, living in the same times. Some just working toward an eternal goal. We all sin or make mistakes, have faults, bad days, etc. Christians or not.

I don't know any Christians. It seems to be better this way. Also I don't know any atheists that call Christians names, nor do I have any reference as to what names these folks are calling.

I don't really get the chance to do this kind of discussion in real life with Christians, so it's hard to say who is bothered by names. (I don't call names, but I'd be able to see what happens when others did) When it comes to the interesting discussions, people are more likely to be offended by someone challenging their 'truth'. But then again, those kinds of posts don't have namecalling.
I did find it ironic that someone referred to 'stupid atheists' in this thread by the way.

No ,
Ironically today I had a Atheist ask me to pray for her.
Wonder why????
She knows I am a Christian and lives her life clearly outside of the norm but she asked me to pray for her, not anything in particular. So I PRAYED.....
I prayed that she would answer the knock on the door.

why let someone who name calls bother you? anyone that does that is not worth your time. i often wonder why atheists want to hunt down christians and demand proof of their beliefs...personally i think others (atheists too) can believe whatever they want and they should let others believe what they want....we certainly don't need a bunch of 'religion police' running around determining who can believe and who can't in what..isn't that exactly why we broke from england? isn't the concept of freedom of religion in the constitution? yeah it should just be water off your back cause really, why is it anyone else's business what you believe.

Being a Christian myself, I don't really care much of what ppl think or say of me, everyone has freedom of speech, and no one other than the Lord and the Almighty Father can judge me.

One gets used to it. It really is an honor, as mentioned above; it means that we must be doing something right.
We are told to love our enemies and to pray for those who misuse us.

Most Christians I know take that stuff as a kind of badge of honor.
