Then were the apostles wrong? Jesus commanded them to baptize in the name of the father, and the son, and the holy ghost. The apostles baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Were they obedient to Jesus? Were they starting their own religion? Were they fulfilling the commandment by using the NAME? If the apostles were wrong then can you believe anything that they said? Even Paul testified that he was baptized in Jesus' Name in Acts 22:16. Nowhere in scripture will you find anyone being baptized in the titles father, son, and holy ghost. I would like anyone to show me where this is.

God did not begin in Bethlehem. You do not know my religion. Jesus Christ is the anointed flesh of the self-existent, eternal God. The flesh was born of Mary. The God that inhabited the flesh always was.

Act 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

This is Paul's testimony of his baptism, calling upon the name of the Lord.

You Jesus Only apostolic stay confused over this matter. I remember when I was still in the Apostolic church the preacher would sit in my house many a night and leave mad because I brought up that Jesus said to Baptize in the name of the Father, son and Holy Spirit and he argued that Peter said to Baptize in Jesus Name so Peter is who we should obey and I would then ask him if Peter was greater than Jesus to over ride Jesus commands.

But what we were both missing back then in the seventies was Jesus point and Peters, is by the authority of Jesus, which is the same authority as the Father, Son and Holy spirit. The words do not really matter, what is important is the intent.

I am sure glad I am now pagan, I don't have to sit and argue silly stuff like this all day anymore.

I think the maddest I ever got that preacher was when he was trying to convince me that Jesus, and God was one and not two, I went to the scripture where Jesus was before a lot of people and God spoke from heaven and said this is my son whom I am well pleased, her ye him, and I asked the preacher if God and Jesus was the same , was Jesus a ventriloquist? Boy he was mad when he left. He always left my house telling me I was going to hell.

The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are the same person. Jesus is The Son.

When I was baptized, I was baptized into the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit so I don't understand what you mean

When you baptize in the name of Jesus Christ you are baptizing in God's name. Yahaveh is God's name. His Word's name is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is Yahaveh's Saviour, Yahashua. Yeshusa is Jesus Christ name in the Hebrew.

With a little more wisdom, you would have not made this mistake. Study more now.><>

When you baptize in the Name of any one of the Trinity ALL are included (Father, Son and Holy Ghost) because they all are one and the same.

I believe there is only one way to get to heaven and that is to believe that Jesus is the son of God, he died for your sins, and rose again the third day and then to ask forgiveness for your sins. I have been baptised, but I don't think it is a requirement to enter heaven. Jesus died to fulfill the law and so we could live in freedom and not be bothered by questions such as these. Jesus came to bring light but you seem intent on bringing confusion.

Matt.28:18

JESUS SPAKE UNTO THEM SAYING, "ALL POWER IS GIVEN [ who is the giver ];

John 3:16 [ For God so loved the world, who did he give, who must they believe in?

ME IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH.

Does it say they worship Jesus in the O.T. They knew who the Father was and they knew that the prophets had his holy spirit so this they knew, it was Jesus that made it complete and here we are 2006 after Jesus Christ and having the KJV Bible 395 years.

It is about time some got serious. How is it Satan is god of this world and I do not read any where, of any baptism in connection with him.

Can Jesus be savior of the world with out being given power from the Almighty Power and finding himself equal to God he humbled himself to death to save the world and give us the N.T. Heb.9:14-16; Heb.1:1-13 and Isa.9:6,7; God Almighty has given him his position. It says let all the angels of God [of God ], worship him. He saves angels from Satan same as he does mankind.

THIS IS WORTH SERIOUS STUDY TO GET IT RIGHT WITH CARE BEFORE GOD AND CHRIST. i LEARNED BEING BRAINWASHED FROM A CHILD BLOTTED OUT TRUE FACTS. 2Cor.4:3,4 It can make Satan a winner and I do not want that.

So if the Apostles are right then Jesus is wrong. If we cant trust the Teacher how do we trust the students. Your cult is failing and needs to come up with new material. Your legalism will send you to Hell and God disowns your hardened heart
