the book of Revelation explains that pretty well.
no amount of wishful thinking will change the truth.

Well at least people will stop killing each other over superstitious fantasies like who has the right god or gods, the right revelation, the right interpretation, the right doctrine and dogma, the right religious polity, the right costumes, the right paintings, the right statues, the right prayers, the right rituals, the right teachers and preachers, the right hairdos, the right beads and amulets, the right incense, the right altar, the right day of the week, the right prayers facing the right direction and all the other meaningless, baseless, pointless bullshit that theists kill each other and everyone else over. Then those who preach this violence will have to reveal their real reason for urging their followers to murder in god's name: money and power.

Actually that's one of the best reasons I know to be a non-believer, i.e. that believers aren't improved by their beliefs. They still act like a ravening wolfpack, but they get to feel self-righteous and holy while they slit throats and kill innocents, or at least they have so far in human history.

It will never take over. Even after Christ comes back and raptures His church there will be MILLIONS on earth who realize what has happened and will believe in Him. They will remember all the Bible stories they heard and the warnings from radical Christians "the end is near" and instead of laughing they will be crying and calling out to God. They will regret the decision they made to deny Him while there was still time and they will have to suffer through the Great Tribulation. There will be A LOT of people calling out to God during that time - probably more than are seeking Him now. What a shame!

The planet will never be atheist. After the church is raptured, Islam will spread over the face of the earth like a dark hand.

Think carefully about if you want to be here when that happens.

It won't. Basic demographics. To put it crudely, since those dumb religious folk are less likely than you to buy into all that abortion, birth control, who cares about marriage stuff, they're out there making babies. And you're not. Their values are being passed down a generation. Yours aren't.

Atheists are outbred, outproseletyzed, and political systems based on it either collapse (the iron curtain implosion), or have to implicitly tolerate their subjects not following the party line.

Atheism won't take over. Hopefully openmindedness will so that all the religions stop trying to force their religion down everyone elses throat.

well who the hell woulde want that then there would be no righteous winners when we go to war cause remember god is always on our side and what about our money it all says in god we trust what would it say if no one believed in god? would this mean we could have atheist churchs and enjoy the same tax exemptions as christians , I guess one thing that would change is the right to life people would lose some ground in their fight against abortion cause cause they could not use their religion no one believes in as a valid reason

It will be cold and barren because the theists will have destroyed it with nuclear weapons while arguing over their ancient scriptures before the atheist humans of Mars returned to recolonize their homeworld.
