"When you are associated with God, you will not feel any pain or suffering. You may have some physical pain or mental anxieties. But, you should ensure that they do not disturb your Atma Tattwa (principle of the Atma). If you are thus firmly established in the Atma Tattwa, nothing can bother you. This is the message of Navarathri."

Can such a quote above have lil bit of Truth, what's your feel ?

The statement is correct, the reactions to sinful activities reduce to the same degree that spiritual advancement is made, the original spiritual body is temporarily covered by eight separated energies, five gross and three subtle, these material or relative coverings are produced due to worldly activities and desires.

When the mind is used to fulfill worldly desires, then the original spiritual body is subject to further material encagement, which means suffering, when the the mind and intelligence however become purified due to the performence of spiritual activities, then the individual is able to perceive themselves as a pure spiritual entity, which is real ego, false ego means to accept the temporary material body as oneself, the nature of the soul or self is eternality, self awareness and bliss, therfore when the original nature is revived then we automatically become happy, this is the result of bonafide religious/spiritual activities.

That great fountainhead of wisdom, the Bhagavad Gita As It Is has this to say about your thoughtful question:-

Chapter 6 Verses 20 to 23

In the stage of perfection called trance, or samādhi, one's mind is completely restrained from material mental activities by practice of yoga. This perfection is characterized by one's ability to see the self by the pure mind and to relish and rejoice in the self. In that joyous state, one is situated in boundless transcendental happiness, realized through transcendental senses. Established thus, one never departs from the truth, and upon gaining this he thinks there is no greater gain. Being situated in such a position, one is never shaken, even in the midst of greatest difficulty. This indeed is actual freedom from all miseries arising from material contact.

Tell that to Paul, Peter, Stephen, and all of the others that were martyred for Christ. The truth of the matter is that we will all carry our cross, we will all experience suffering, IF we are Christians. "I am crucified WITH Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I but Christ liveth in me, and this life which I NOW live in the flesh, I live by faith in Christ, who loved me and GAVE Himself for me." To say that a Christian is not going to suffer is to make Jesus and God a liar! Yes we will experience suffering, trials, storms, and temptations in THIS life, but the awesome thing is that Christ through the Holy Spirit comforts us when going through these things and brings a peace "that passes all understanding." As Stephen was being stoned to death, do you not think he was suffering? But through all of that, the Holy Spirit brought peace and he asked God to forgive them. Why do we experience these things you ask, because the world hates Christ because "light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil."

I have no idea what this stuff is from. It's not from the bible! Jesus said in this life we would have tribulation (suffering). Being a Christian doesn't mean you skip through life with no problems. What it does mean is that you have the power of God in your corner, the comfort of the Almighty, the compassion of our savior, the healing, grace, mercy and forgiveness of the one who created all things, including your heart which can be hurt! And all this is available to you every second of every day of your life.

Now....that's something.

I don't think it matters who your god is - or whether or not you are with your god. We are all experiencing the human experience. It will be fraught will toils and snares, pains and sufferings. The one who is with their God - may have peace in their soul while they are going through painful times. God will be their comfort in the storm. People with out God will have to weather the storm alone - and that may add to their suffering. When going through suffering times it is better to go with someone who has been there before you than to go it alone.

Many religions beleive that painful expirience is a part of the pathway to God. That through, pain, suffering and anguish, we learn to be stronger in the face of harder things, and in this strength we find the peace that God offers us through suffering......hey its just a thought!

I don't think so. The Bible tells us that God allows things to happen to you so you can draw upon Him to help you through it. We can't do it on our own. If you can read the devotional on Intouch.org (Dr. Charles Stanley's site) for October 13. It tells more about it.

not true - we feel pain and suffering, but god helps us through those things. he doesn't promise that we won't feel pain and suffering, but he does promise that if we give our hearts to him he will help us through our troubles.
