Hot water is Not bad for the facial skin. This is a common misconseption. Hot water opens the pores, which releases all of the backed up dirt and washes the exess oils away. If you submerge your face in hot/warm bath water it may actually be better. If you are trying to get rid of acne use a mild soap -such as ivory or dove. Nothing with alcohol or oil stripping ingeredients. If you take away the natural oils on the face, your body just makes more to replace it. This makes the pores open more to allow oil to flow freely. Which, in turn also allows more dirt and bacteria to get into skin. Then wash face thoughly, and rinse with cold water. The cold water makes the pores tighten, making it harder for dirt to get into them.
Hope I helped = )

NO! Of course not! Warm water or hot water is great for the skin! Why??? Well because heat opens up your pores helping bacteria that help produce pimples and ect be exposed. That is why most acne cleaners say to use warm water to rinse your face! Warm water is great for the skin, but remember that water alone or too much water and soap makes the skin dry and takes away proteins and nutrients from the skin. So wash your face with acne cleaners or anything for the face. But that helps bring moisture to skin!
As a medical assistant Ive seen teens wash their faces with soap and water constantly, which they have no idea that it causes their face to break out even more! Use a mild soap, or buy soaps specifically for your needs!
Hope this helps!

no, hot water is actually good for your skin, it opens the pores which allows dirt and oil to be released. Its best to submerge your face in hot water, wash it with a facial cleanser, then rinse with cold, the cold water allows the pores to close back up.

No,lukewarm water is not bad for your skin,in fact it will open the pores of your skin w/c make it easier for you to cleanse it and it's also wash away excess oil on our skin as well, but it's advisable to rinse it up w/ cold water once you finished bathing or cleansing your face, the idea is to close back the open pores of your skin.

Yes, hot water is bad for the face. It is not good for the skin at all because it contributes to dry skin. But, we do it anyway because nothing feels as good as a hot bath or shower!

It's not the hot water. It's the excessive soap exposure. Use bath oil beads, instead of bubble bath for better skin results.
