i fell on it and it keeps getting worse.... should I keep living with it and see what happens, or go to the doctor and get a "for sure" answer?

Doctor no do nothin, go to Mexican Sobador, he fix it right away

You should go to the doctor and get a for sure answer because it's getting worse. There are so many small bones in the wrist, you could have broken one. Even if you didn't you might have injured a ligament. If the pain or swelling gets really bad, go to the emergency room.

You are guilty of not providing any information for a definitive answer. When did the injury occur, is there swelling, abrasion, are you able to bend the wrist...etc. If you want good advice, you have to give more information as someone could judges...a very common fracture of the wrist is a colles fracture and needs both x-ray and if fractured, then splinting. To reduce discomfort on a temporary basis, most analgesics will help, but a trip to the ER is probably a better idea. To avoid the excessive charges of the ER, try for your family physician...

I think you should go and see the doctor immediately! An X-ray is a must for this kind of thing, but for now try not to move it alot and also be careful! Soak it in hot water or put ice on it every night and see if progress occurs.

Go to the dr you twit!!! the wrist has a lot of bones, ligaments, muscles and other junk all of which can be injured when you fall. the thing to remember is if you injure yourself and it keeps getting worse see a dr.

If it swelled right away its a sprain if it hurts and is not swollen but swells after 24 hrs. it could be broke, I would get an x-ray hon!
