I have one minion with intense behavior problems. He is prone to mood swings, and at other times is completely indifferent to all emotions or compassion. He can often be found alone, brooding in corners, or else attempting to make friends with the most unlikely of people. He is severely socially illiterate, for he often has no idea when to join a conversation or when to close his mouth. He also is attempting to slowly starve himself to death while disguising this as "eating healthy." Children are scared of him, and as children are always a good judge of character, I believe this says something about him. I cannot decide what form of punishment would be most affective. It surely cannot be lethal, for that is what he wants, and I refuse to give that to him. What would be an appropriate punishment for him?

First of all, children are NOT necessarily a good judge of character. Children are, in fact, incredibly superficial beings. I know some of the most kind hearted gay people, for example, who are made fun of because they talk differently and the children refuse to be around them. Reversely, there is someone I know who is physically attractive but is more or less a screw up and the children love him and can't be around him enough. As for your concerns with eating and social problems, I would talk about it or perhaps do an intervention.
