Living in Bogota Colombia?

I need advice about how to find jobs teaching english or other sources of income when I live in Bogota.

The best way to do it is to travel and start looking around. However, your Spanish must be good in order to teach at any institution. Just check classified ads on local newspapers and also check for places other than schools, like institutions or private organizations. I plan to do this myself and this has been the advise I've been given. And in regards to security, all that is needed is common sense

ill go along with that idea also, im not sure you can find anymore dangerious places than parts of america.
russia downtown moscow, i feel better walking at 4 am by myself than baltimore or dc at mn.
the worst thats happened to me was someone demanding i go with them ,and i wanted to go home to bed,i won anyway.
dc likely the outcome would be the hospital of funeral home,as with la, or miami.
i havent been in peru or columbia for alot of years, and i am sure it has changed alot,but then stories of old were not far off in the late 70's and early 80's.
i here tell of wonderfull seas capable of being used at night,not in those waters unless it is a swimming pool.
but the social climate has changed alot,so im looking for a shocker when i get back down there,not what i remember but what i desire to find and enjoy in life.

Depends on your level of qualifications and how good your Spanish is, without that it is difficult to give advice.

Ignore the stuff about how dangerous it is, there are places in the US I wouldn't hang out in, downtown Washingtown is worse than most of Colombia.
