I like your tiger....I hope your 12 cats aren't going to be that size..hehehe ! ! !
You know I'm going through my second divorce and at the moment I don't mind being alone. But I do think when my son, who's 13 now, moves out and I'm all alone......Well, yeah, the thought crosses my mind that I'll die alone. I really don't like the idea at all. I think everyone has a soul mate. And I think you'll find yours. Just try and not go through a bunch of a-holes to find yours. Be patient and wait for the right one. In the meantime cherish your friends. Good friends are hard to find, and one or two will last a lifetime. Hang on to that and you'll never be lonely....
My best friend lives in another town. We've been best friends for well over 20 years. I'd betcha a dollar when I get old I'll move in with her as she's still single herself...........and we'll probably get a cat......
Good luck ! ! !

Yeah. I think at some point most people think this way. I certainly know I have. Well, that's not true. I would say one cat, not twelve! But, I figure it will pass and I'll eventually find SOMEONE who is just right, but maybe I should lower my standards. Then I realize, that it is NOT too much to ask to have a partner in life that you want to be just right for you. You will be spending the bulk of your life with one person by your side and it should be the right one. So, I guess all we can do is wait and cry on the shoulders of our coupled friends.

Well you can't be all bad you have two more cats than we do - but seriously I would say you biggest problem is your over use of the word 'I" - stop thinking about yourself - get your mind off being morose and introspective and go and study a course or something - if you are involved in something - the relationship will come - stop looking and it will happen - you are giving the air of "I'm a loser" - "I'm a loser", even in the way you've asked this question - that will definitely put people off - so get out and about and get your mind interested in something ! 12 cats - I thought we were bonkers with 10 !

I know this probably wont make you feel better but cats wont break your heart like a man can.
Stay away from unavailable people, be patient. Life with someone your not suppose to be with can feel a lot more lonely than being alone.

Everyone dies alone, honey- And it's all relative- some are SURROUNDED by people and feel more alone than you. Some are married for 50 years then look into the eyes of that person and realize they don't even know who they are looking at. That's why it's so important to make the most of everything. Take it all in because you can't take it with you.

Maybe you came from a dysfunctional family and that is why you fall for unavailable people. Get some books from the library and learn why you fall for the wrong kind of people. You just need to do some reading and soul searching. You won't end up alone.

Considering that women generally live longer than men, even if you do find the one he'll probably die first. So yes, you're going to die all alone. Sorry.
