I don't understand how you DIDN'T KNOW you were a Muslim until two years ago.

If so, how many years did it take you to know you were a girl!

I mean I didn't know what a Jew was until I moved to California at the age of 14, even though we had on in Chicago Public schools, I didn't get the connection.

But I knew I was a Christian since the age of 5.

I don't have a problem looking at or reading any book or symbol, because I don't worship them.

I've attempted to read the Gita, too boring.

I've read most of the Bible

I've read parts of the Quran

I always wanted to read the Book of Mormon.

I read I and Thou by Martin Buber

Don Juan the Yaqui Way of Knowledge

Be Here Now

Electric Koolaide Acid Test

Freud, Jung, Rogers, Pavlov, Einstein

The Secret Life of Plants

Books don't frighten me or scare me.

Don't know where you get the idea that looking at the "Cross,Jesus, church or Bible" would get you killed. As a child being raised in England my father took us kid's to Bible class on Sunday's, (Methodist, Catholic,). We had Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormon's come to the house. All this so that we could make up our own minds as to the direction we wanted to follow in our religious beliefs. All I can say is that regardless of what you believe in, just try and live every day as your last, and that you are going to meet your maker. Everything you do is between you and Him.

You feel that way out of guilt. You know that Jesus Christ is the only way, truth and life and you have refused Him. You have a right to fear for your life because He will allow no other gods and you have chosen to believe in a false doctrine. Therefore you are right to feel you will be punished. There is a very real hell who awaits the unbelievers.

If it's your Muslim religion that makes you feel that way that sounds to me like what so many are trying to accuse us Christians of. Your "god" is making you feel like looking at a Bible is wrong? Your "god" is making you feel like you will be punished to look at a cross? Do you worship Dracula?

Jesus Christ has never punished me for exploring other religions or being curious about what others believe. In checking out all the other stuff He was the One true light that came shining through. My faith is even more secure now after knowing what else is out there and what little they have to offer.

Hmmm, let's see ...

looking at the Cross, pictures about Jesus, Church buildings, or the Bible could lead to your accepting Him as Saviour and Lord"

Who would like to keep you from doing that? The Enemy!!

Perhaps it is the Enemy how "makes you feel like somebody is going to kill you if you look at them ... like I will be punished if looking at one of them". The Enemy will do whatever he can in order to keep you from the Truth.

That's so unusual. I doubt if you would truly be killed but it must be very uncomfortable to feel that way. But if your religion is this important to you, I don't think you or your creator want you to feel bad, so I would suggest you try not to look at the things that disturb you so badly. I somehow ache for you...I'm not a Muslim, but I respect your beliefs and feelings..

Muslims live in fear of punishment... The Bible is a book of love, forgiveness and acceptance. Jesus came because He loved you. He loved ytou so much he was willing to die for you and pay the price for your sin so you don't have to fear. If you look at the cross and the Bible and feel like you will be punished, it is because of the guilt you feel inside that has not yet been forgiven. The Bible tells us that we are all sinners in need of Jesus love and forgiveness. He will forgive all who come to Him. All you need to do is believe that Jesus came and died for you and accept that forgiveness and be willing to love him back. That freedom you get from getting rid of the guilt will change your life. You will discover that God is your friend, not just your judge.

Kill me? No. But it makes me on my guard, for some reason. There's nothing more uncomfortable for me than someone trying to "save" my soul. To be honest, taking it up the butt is more comfortable to me than that.
