I served 20 years in theAir Force and never did get over anxiety while flying. Air Force doctors gave us dramimine --- sorry I don't remember the exact dose. Now I use Wal-Mart's Equate brand of motion sickness tablets. The label says the medicine is Dimenhydrinate/Antiemitic. There are 100 tablets of 50 mg each. The directions say take 2 tablets 30 minutes to 1 hour before take off --- then 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours. Children 2 to 6 years old take 1/4 to 1/2 tablet every 6 hours. A pharmacist could give you better advice. For what it's worth, unbuttered popcorn also help me during flights.

Vertigo is a symptom. The therapy relies upon on what motives it. First get it regarded at by ability of your wide-unfold practitioner. it would desire to be an ear an infection or some thing greater intense. If the wide-unfold practitioner can no longer discover something the concern with you (tell me approximately it!) that's in all probability emotional. relax greater and supply up taking existence so heavily.

Xanax is great for that. You need a prescription from your doctor. It can be an addictive drug, so tell your Dr. what you want it for and only request a small amount. Hope this helps.

I go with the zanax. You doc will probably give you some just for the flight. You won't feel all crappy and drowsy after taking a little nap while you fly.

See your dr. If your anxiety is bad enough he may give you a few Rx pills(like xanax or valium) to help you remain calm during the flight.

The best remedy, is sleep! You fall asleep, you wake up later - it's like a time machine!

Logic. Remember you have a better chance to die in a car accident and that flying never killed anyone (it's the sudden stoppage when you impact the ground that kills).
