Remember that life is a journey, not a destination. You'll get lost a few times, you'll run out of gas a few times, but that's part of the trip, and can be learning experiences. Blessed be.

Diligence in pursuit to that thing that makes you happy or content. Life is consistant with up and downs. Your goal is to try and find your balance and/or median in between that can make "you" stable. For some, it is jesus. For other's, they would just drown thier sorrows in alcohol. Not a good vice to my acceptance. But life is like that, and it is up to you to try and balance yourself out bc everybody is different nor thinks the same. In buddhism, there is the yin and yang. Purposely demonstrating the balance of nature that exists inside of you. If you really look at it, there are the yin and yang constantly chasing each others in a perfect wheel. But they are balanced. And there is a little of the yin in the yang and a little bit of the yang in the yin. It is originally represented as male and female on the premise of existance, but can be interperated to other understandings. The yin and yang can represent posotive and negative. The wheel(circle) is you. So you have the posotive and negative constantly chasing each others. But the difference is, they are balanced. So hence, no up and down. No left and right. just perfect balance and harmony. Hope you understood this advice. Take care love!
And I erased that comment bc I didn't realise till after that it might offend you. Sorry if I did. And if you did not read it, then you need not worry. PEACE!

My 15 year old son died five years ago from leukemia. The only way I can stay positive is to get up every day and make a choice every day to be happy. It is a conscious choice to be positive despite all the wrong, bad, sucky things that happen in this life. Even when it doesn't make sense to be positive - I still choose to be happy - because I CAN choose. People and events can't take that choice away from me. Sometimes it is hard, but it is a decision I made after my son died to handle it that way - otherwise - I think I would just die and I would want to take some people with me.

Just say these words to yourself, but overall understand the meaning of them. Dear Lord grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. Just remember circumstances in life are always relative, we are here for a few moments...it takes the same effort to think positively than otherwise, so why choose the latter? God Bless :)

WoW, to ask this question your heart must be really heavy. I and I'm sure we all at some point have felt the same way; Just know that there is someone who is doing a whole lot worse than you are right now and that you have to experience the bad to appreciate the good in all things. Also, the things we endure in life both good and bad are experiences that allow us to become strong and wise. Just think, if things were so bad for you now, how is it that you are able to be on-line to ask this questions? Thus, its not as bad as it could be and you must realize that there is someone out there going through something much worse in their life as to where they can not even ask or seek help on-line.. Check it, if you have your basic needs met then how bad can things really be.. Food, Clothing, Shelter, Friends, Family, and maybe even some of the things you want then thing aren't really that bad. Just my thoughts and response to your question.. Also, prayer really does work, you just have to ask for the right thing and not be general in your request to God if Prayer is apart of your life. Don't say Lord I need a job, but Lord I want a Good Paying job that will allow me to have what I need, want and one that will allow me to help others without going broke or suffering any loss of your blessing.. Something like that. If your family member is ill pray and ask for a healing for that person by name, not in general.

I do several things. I pray, but mostly not for things to be "fixed" but to see the blessing in the problem.
I do things like massage that make me feel good.
I cultivate friendships that encourage me. I don't really like friends that just complain or encourage me to complain cuz that doesn't lift me up.
I exercise--anything will do, but I really like Tai Chi.
I sing--hymns and praise songs are good--but anything that's upbeat.
Of course, if there is something I can do to improve my situation, I work on that.
Sometimes, I just have to admit that things are tough and it makes sense that I'm feeling down. Once I admit it, and maybe have a good cry about it, it seems like I have more energy to deal with it.
Stay away from drugs and alcohol--they may be fine in moderation at other times, but they are bad news when you're struggling anyway.
Read the comics, or watch a funny movie--Don't listen to the news.
Laugh! It's good for your heart--physically and emotionally.
Hope this helps.

High Hopes
Next time you're found, with your chin on the ground
There's a lot to be learned, so look around
Just what makes that little old ant
Think he'll move that rubber tree plant?
Anyone knows an ant, can't
Move a rubber tree plant.
But he's got high hopes, he's got high hopes
He's got high apple pie, in the sky hopes
So any time you're gettin' low
'stead of lettin' go
Just remember that ant.
Oops there goes another rubber tree plant
When troubles call, and your back's to the wall
There's a lot to be learned, that wall could fall.
Once there was a silly old ram
Thought he'd punch a hole in a dam.
No one could make that ram, scram.
He kept buttin' that dam
'Cause he had high hopes, he had high hopes
He had high apple pie, in the sky hopes
So any time you're feelin' bad
'stead of feelin' sad
Just remember that ram.
Oops! there goes a billion kilowatt dam.
All problems are just a toy balloon
They'll be bursted soon.
They're just bound to go, "pop".
Oops! there goes another problem kerplop

Find a way to laugh. Humour will keep your spirits up, when everything looks bleak. And know....that this too shall pass. Nothing lasts forever, change is constant. Time will take care of any problem.

Only through Jesus Christ. We are always to esteem others better than self... It wasn't until I realised I was nothing, and Jesus Christ was everything, that I can wake up every morning knowing that it is He who puts the smile on my face because of the fact that he has given me eternal life. Read the book of Romans Chapter 4... specifically verses 4 and 5

Would you like to have a new BMW even if it's dirty?
Well, it's the same thing with life; when you see it dirty, you get depress and you think that you'll spend all day trying to clean it, and that it will never be clean. But when you finish, all the spend day worths it
