I don't know, but some people -like Moslems for example- always yell that it's inappropriate, it's a sin, it's bad... whatever... How come? Have I done something really wrong then?

DanceQueen Noa,
It might be a sin if you don't! lol

The Muslims ALL have one thing in common, they are legalistic. You can recognise legalistic behavior in many Christians as well. What it is is an adherance to certain rules that they seem to always have something to say about what someone else is doing.

So screw them if they think that something is wrong. That's their problem. You be who you are. I wouldn't walk around nude in NYC, but you know, moderation, and being smart, sexy can be great in the right place and the right time. Okay?

yeah as cris said, religion like islam stops it b\c if u have control on yourself, still u can bring others to sin.letting ppl know,u r sexy makes a way,n u know where it leads.if u think it leads to good side, then u can blame any religion, or islam for an orthodox view. i will also say, that religions r not totally as they r seen from ppl representing them, probably u met ppl who represent islam totally a wrong way.as religion like islam(other religion must b too) says this is right this is wrong,it never ever forced u to do this or that, but definately who follow, there's reward in end.
i am a muslim woman too,i cover myself,by my own will as i feel satisfied."what u want n what r the values u need to follow" comparison must b made n itz only u who can make.so u have the right to dress as u want,if u feel guilty or think itz wrong, find sumthing for u thatz good n also decent, which covers u n also gives u elegancy.

First of all, what religion are you inquiring about? Religions vary in their view of women's dress. The way you dress might not be a sin for you, but it can cause others to sin. The bible says women are to be moderately dressed because in biblical times women were dressed in fine apparel, beautiful braided hair and expensive jewelry. This was a distraction in the church of that time.

For me personally, outward beauty is definitely a plus, but it's whats on the inside that counts.

i think of those celebrities do have impact, yet in basic terms on those with destructive imaginations... :) in a perfect international we could placed on what we'd like and not could think of roughly how others will react to us, yet that'll in no way ensue.and that i do sense that many youthful women are completely idealistic and placed on some very revealing outfits devoid of pondering the undesirable interest they might get, yet its their life and that they are going to learn quickly sufficient. i think like the two women and men human beings could take greater accountability on the two aspects. maximum adult men will look if a women human beings walks via wearing percenthotpants.. and girls human beings could delight in that. yet women human beings truly have a ideal to placed on a pair of geared up denims or a sleeveless proper and not be compelled or made to sense uncomfortable.

You are doing nothing wrong.,They are jealous of how good you look and they do not.
Flaunt what you have while you are young ,because time and gravity play hell with your looks as you age .
We are most physically attractive up to age 30 .
Then the changes take place and soon you don`t look as good as you once did .
We have to rely on our conversational talents and personality from then on.
Enjoy life while you can and don`t forget that the old guys that whistle at you ,are just saying you look sexy to them also .

Sin is a matter of the heart. You already know why you dress the way you do (most people do), if you don't care about pleasing God, what difference does it make?

no i dont think its a sin. the only thing is that if you dress too sexy, you'd be sending out the wrong impression of yourself and getting unwanted attention... unless you want that.

The Bible has this to say about a woman's attire...

1 Timothy 2:9-10, "In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works."

Christian and to a degree Jewish people say you shouldn't dress or act like a Harlot.

If God cared about what people wear or whether they expose their body, why did He let Adam and Eve run around naked when He created them? If this was a big deal, couldn't He have created some clothes? A couple oversized shirts or something would've been enough, you would think.
