I am familiar with this kind of situation. There are many people like him. They just like attention. They may even do something to initiate receiving attention, but once they get it, they are satisfied and off to get it from someone else and the pattern will repeat for up to as many people they they can get attention from. These people don't LIKE (well they may have a boyfriend/girlfriend/or be single), but most of all they want to Be Liked by others. It makes them feel good about themselves.

we're the same...my heart had been broken for so many times. i've rejected all other boys just provide some space for him in my heart but it ends up just like you said..
my advise...
you just have to get over it..
find another boy who is better than him...
TRUST ME IT'S THE BEST FOR YOU....

just forget it and move on you'll have a bunch of guys that do that but when that happens just go with the flow and dont make a big deal about it!

He just wanted to know if you liked him. He doesn't have a fully developed set of gonads, so he doesn't know what to do once a girl likes him, so he just leaves it at that.
