Really, swim or take swimming classes. A good safe activity. And on top of that, do some ab work at home. Both safe, vital, exercises.

Its all personal preference but for me, jogging really helps me relax. I like the feeling of just running for as far as you can and having no boundaries. But remember to always keep a steady pace and whatever you do don't stop and walk in the middle, because it totally throws off your rhythm, and that's when you start to get cramps, which can be extremely irksome.

situps or crunches/curl-ups; stand on your tip-toes, then go back, then tip-toes, then down, over and over. For your thighs just walk up and down stairs if you live in a house that is one floor, walk up hills.

exercise on an ellyptical trainer -- they allow both upper and lower body workout. your local gym should have them.
