I just started taking Topamax two weeks ago and one of the side effects I am experiencing is some pretty bad acne on my face and shoulders. Has anyone had this side effect? If so, is there any way to get rid of it? Thanks.

Let me clarify, before I started the medication I had not had acne like this since I was like 10 and I have been washing it normally (every night and morning) and now the acne has suddenly appeared and will not go away even a little bit.

I don't know about any acne medication that causes facial hair growth as aren't they usually unisex? Just keep shaving and the regrowth should come back stronger each time. You're still pretty young so don't feel to annoyed as it will take awhile to grow anyway. I myself am in the process of growing my beard and it's like watching grass grow (pun intended :P), It's quite a lengthy process, I don't think any man wakes up the next morning after a shave with a fully fledged beard :P

that's really very possible... coz you are intaking and there are lots of causes of acne = dirt, hormonal, ..... please see a doctor
