Yes i do, while i love some of the contemporary gospel today, I do love the old standards:)
Amazing grace, What a friend we have in Jesus, Leaning on the everlasting arms, When the Saints go marching in, There is power in the blood, His eye is on the sparrow, How great thou art, and so so many more.
God bless you :)

I don't have any hymn CDs, or know where to get them on my budget (I'm in missions work.) However, I have a whole lot of favorite old hymns. Some of the new ones are nice, too, like In Christ Alone and Shout to the Lord. (I call them hymns because they're too long to be a chorus.)
Anyway, some of my old favorites are What a Friend We Have in Jesus, In My Heart There Rings a Melody, Standing on the Promises, Stand Up Stand Up for Jesus, It Is Well With My Soul, Come Christians Join to Sing, Jesus Loves Me, I Stand Amazed in the Presence, Onward Christian Soldiers, Joy to the World, I Love to Tell the Story, We've a Story to Tell to the Nations, Tell Me the Old Old Story, Victory in Jesus, When We All Get to Heaven, Holy Holy Holy, and a whole bunch of others. Some of the ones in 3/4 time are nice, but most of my favorites are the ones you can really march to. I have them in my head as I'm walking for groceries and such. Makes the trip a lot nicer and puts a big smile on my face as I go.

You always hear some great hymns around Christmas. "Silent Night," is the classic. I also like a couple out of Handle's symphony, "The Messiah," namely, "Onto Us A Child is Born," and, "The Alleluia Chorus."

The old hymn I love has been removed from most church hymnals. It was called Whispering Hope. I don't anyone who recorded the song.

" Beneath the Cross of Jesus." " Peace in the Valley," " Come to the Church in the Vale." " My Jesus Lord and Savior " " Abide With Me " This is a nice question and all the Christians love it. Thank you.
