Well.... one of my best friends likes a tom-boy, so it really just depends on the guy. (and how big of a jerk he is.) If a guy truly likes you, it shouldnt matter, how you act, or what you wear! I hope this helps!

Yes!! As long as you are a little feminine, then most men do. Be yourself but realize if you are too much of a tomboy it can be a turnoff to some guys.
Tomboys tend to whine less, talk more direct, play less head games & sometimes be more empathic to the guy they love. Usually former tomboys make the best keepers & perfect mates for guys who love the outdoors & sports.
Good luck to you! :)

Well, I'm not a guy, but it seems that they would like tomboys because it's someone they can relate to and have things in common with. Especially sports. Most guys love when their girlfriends like sports too. Bottom line, don't try to change who you are for some guy. If this guy doesn't like you, then that's his loss and some other guy's gain.

Tomboy as in not ultra feminine? Or tomboy as in dressing like a dude? Guys dig chicks that are into some guy stuff, but at the same time they want to know they are dating a woman. Get me?

If you like sports and male interests you may find it easier to talk to men on a freindly basis, but if you dress like a man and cut your hair short and act butch all the time you may frighten men off.
I suggest keeping your interest in sports but being (dressing) feminine at the same time, that way you get the best of both worlds
Men like women to be feminine, (pretty/girly) but an interest in masculine things is good. If you act too much like a man, maybe he will regard you as a man.

some guys like tomboys and some don't.
These days a lot of guys want a female who works out, who can play a game of basketball with them, and go to sporting events, and hike, etc.

as a 40yr old tomboy...your kind of guy will like you..he must be able to handle you.I raised 2fine young men..I taught them to swim, playball, fight and be loving. They are my buddies still.Men mostly compete physically and women mostly emotionally.when you talk with guys they are not usually trying to compete and are better listeners for you-they usually don't know alot about it..and have less to add.As you talk with them you give them some insight on things they don't normally listen to coming from women so you helpthem to think of things they might not have considered before.Guys wonder about girls who are stand-offish so be noticed but let them wonder..get their attention first-from a distance.

Well I'll tell ya. My wife is probably what you might call a tomboy. She loves to camp, fish, walk, hike, hunt (when we used to hunt) , dance and is just my best buddy and is my lover too. I couldn't ask for more. Be yourself. You will find someone who will accept you and be happy with you just the way you are.

I know I do. That is, I like *attractive* tomboys (such as this one girl I knew once; it's what she called herself, even though I disagreed). And attractive girls that are a bit more "feminine" or whatever, or anything else. And let me clarify, you can be attractive without looking it, and vice-versa.
If this guy likes you, he won't care what you're like. That is, as long as you're not "bi" or something like it (assuming he's against that sort of thing).

most guys like a girl who can play their game but knows how to be a lady too. you need to mix it up a bit and be a lady who can play with the boys. sounds like you are stuck in the just a friend typecast. girl up a bit and see what happens.
