My god, taxi will cost you a Chinese fortune! The long distance coach station, is the best bet by far, they are very efficient and despite the horror stories of Chinese bus travel, (and yes these buses do still exist in mountainous countryside areas,) the Shenzhen bus station in Lohu offers very modern and comfortable buses. And of course the buses leave frequently. The coach station is located along with the train station in lohu district.

Zhongshan Ferry

Bus is the cheapest option and it's about 3 hrs or pop over to hk and get the ferry to Zhongshan 1and a half hours great experience.

long distane bus is fine - less than 3 hours.about $70. or you can take a ferry, but buses are more often used by local people

the direct bus is the best chioce!! They run every half hour and take about 3hs to get to Zhongshan. you could arrive there safe and sound!!! to find the Luo huo Bus Station.
