it's bad to pop pimples because it can leave a scar that would be longer to heal than not popping it in the first place. Let nature do the work. You can try freezing it because that's what they do in China. I remember when I was about 7 years old, i went to the hospital to cut out some pimples (I don't know what it's called but it looked like pimples) (not moles). They used the freezing method.
I now live in Canada and I seems to be getting less pimples in the winter than in the summer. So I guess temperature does have an effect on pimples.

Yes.
It's tempting, but popping or squeezing a pimple won't necessarily get rid of the problem. Squeezing can actually push bacteria and pus deeper into the skin, which can cause more swelling and redness. Squeezing can also lead to scabs and may leave you with permanent pits or scars.
Because popping isn't the way to go, patience is the key. Your pimple will disappear on its own, and by leaving it alone you're less likely to be left with any reminders that it was there. To dry a pimple up faster, apply 5% benzoyl peroxide gel or cream once or twice a day. You can buy this over the counter at your local drugstore.
If you're concerned about pimples, talk to your doctor or a dermatologist.

A pimple has two area of infection (puss). There is the top, the white head, and there is an area below. When you pop and squeeze it you get rid of the puss in the top part of the pimple but deep down there is still puss, infection. this will remain and cause the pimple to return and increases rate of scarring. A dermotologist uses a special instrument to pop the pimple, then press strait down with the other end which has a small scoop with a hole in the center which allows the puss to squirt through without closing up the pimple. Also much more sanitary than using your fingernails.

it's bad to pop pimples with your fingers because the oil on your hands has now gotten into your pores, and you haven't helped the situation, most likely made it worse. There is this little device that works wonders, it looks like a small straight metal stick with 2 loops on the end, this way you can drag it over your skin and pop those nasty pimples, without contaiminating your skin. (It's the same device used as when you get a facial.)

As ugly as a pimple is, it is still covered by skin. Skin is the best protective barrier to keep bacteria (including the bacteria that always lives on top of your skin) out of your body. Once the skin barrier is broken (as it is after you "pop" a zit), the bacteria that is on top of your skin, gets into your body. Then your whole body has to fight the bacteria. The broken skin has to be repaired, but the repaired skin is never rebuilt as well as it was before. Sometime the result can look terrible (a scar). The pimple left alone will heal on its own and eventually come out on its own, but it takes while and might look weird.

The pressure required to pop one pushes some unwanted fluid back down into the pores and does damage to the tissure surrounding the pimple. YOu need to get the stuff out not push it back in.
There are medications to help clear those up.
Don't let someone else do harm to their body by squeezing those things.

I think it looks so ugly when a pimple is popped! Just use a cleanser it will get smaller and smaller and then it will go away before you know it! Don't pop it!

It can leave scars on your face and the pimple could get worse from the salt/oil in your fingers!
