i usually buy directly from delta online. but where can i find the LOWEST air fares?

I would try both expedia and travelocity. (both are .com)
when you find the cheapest airline, then go directly to their web site and see if you can get it a little cheaper directly.

Usually is better to buy directly from the Airline, you can save the booking fee.

Book in advance and try a travel agent instead of online. Online isn't always less.
