to second Brad theres no E in dating people and I'm 18 and haven't got 'round to getting myself a credit card as yet, but when I do it'll be through either ANZ-aussie/nz bank or Velocity-Virgin Blue-aussie airline both with low rates.
But to answer your question properly I have not yet had any problems dating without a credit card because I always have money on me and in my ANZ bank account which I can get using my ATM card anywhere in the world.

First off there isn't an "e" in dating and second just be nice to girls, give compliments where due, strike up conversations and don't blow hard earned money on sites that aren't going to work anymore than your own skills!
