I just used it for half an hour and he said he wants it back..after being on for 4 hours...........
7 days a week.............. he actually cannot manage doing anything else for long......... no tv.no going out.no conversation!!! nothing!!!! if he isnt on here.he actually usually just goes to sleep.

Sure..I knew some boy is on-line 16 hours daily and found a beautiful woman as crazy as he is..he finally moved to her state..so far, they live happily ever after..by the way, they are on MySpace everyday, every hour...hehehe..what a sick love story..but it was true story..

I think you have already decided the answer to that question, and totally, I would be fed up too.
Why dont you, very calmly and kindly explain to him that you feel that his computer habits are out of control and excessive. I hear computer/internet addiction is a common thing. Maybe you could find some info and print it out for him to read. It might ring a bell for him.
You might want to explain that, though it is not an ultimatum, that sort of habit is not want you want in a relationship and will have to move on. But seriously, dont expect to him to change when you say this. If he wants to, then it is totally a bonus and the guy is probably a keeper but most of the time, people wont change for anyone but themselves and even then it can be hard.

No way. Do you know what it is he is doing on-line for 5-10 hours a day? Is it porn? Does he work? Is he possibly searching for employment? What is his desire to use the computer practically all day everyday? When you can answer these questions, you will be able to answer whether it is worth staying with him or not. Good Luck

maybe he needs a girlfriend who likes computers too.. it probably won't work out between you two.
try to be interested in what hes doing, ask him about the website he's visiting or ask him if he built his computer and if he wants to build one, he will probably enjoy talking to you about it. ask him how the processor works or about the games he plays.
you could also try this to pry him away from the computer and out of the house, get him to go to an electronics store with you.
just a few suggestions, you have to find a way to get into his head without him knowing it, but also take some interest in what hes doing. if he simply tells you he doesn't want to talk about it, he's too far gone, cut your losses and get a new boyfriend.

Give the computer a virus. Turn off all the protection. Then go on gambling or porn sites. Infest it with lots of crap and then he will have lots of time for you.
Sorry that must be horrible. I dont know what would be worse another woman or competing with the computer.

yes, its definatly possible. when i was 20 i talked to this woman online for hours. many days a week it would be 5-10 hours a day. looking back on it, maybe it was kind of a sickness. ...it certianly turned out to not be very healthy. but maybe that is a lesson this guy is going to have to learn for himself.
WAIT WAIT! SORRY. I misread your question. ...my new answer is no. you cannot date someone like that. he should be thinking about you but his world is inside that computer. i wouldnt want to date someone like that.

get a computer, set it up next to him and play the same game he is.. chase him around and constantly kill him in the game.. my guess is that it's a MMORPG and he likes elves or dwarves more than you

dump him if he isn't giving you the 5 to 1o hrs a day, kick his *** to the curb girl and find a guy that will know how to treat you
