I think we focus too much on the abuse of things because most people lack self-control......where as experiential research (once or twice ) would open your eyes to something U may not be ready to see......which is why people fall into abuse and addiction.......If U have strong convictions and understand and exercise self- control......after doing either U may realize Jesus doesn't really care to judge U.......he's got better stuff to do like being one with the universal consciousness......

Yes, because if you have Jesus in your heart. Then your body is the temple of God. We are to take care of the temple. Would you go into a church and do bad things inside it, or would you respect the church building? The Bible says be not drunk with wine, but be ye filled with the Holy Spirit. I am not a drug user, and I can have a great time without drugs or drinking. I am not perfect, just forgiven.

I would think so...You may call them recreational...but in reality they are just as damaging in the long run as other drugs in the marketplace. They are against the law... and breaking the law is wrong. We are to honor those in authority over us. We are not to use these illegal things just to please ourselves. That is selfishness, and self centerness. These drugs cause accidents, substance abuse, theft, lying, and slowly destroy the mind. /they also result in destroying homes and marriages. As a result, I cannot see how Jesus could possibly approve of use of these substances.

Even if it were legal, no. Drug use is a way to escape the world around you and impairs your judgment and compromises your ability to do Gods will and witness to people concerning Jesus.

Jesus apposes anything good for people. So I think he'd be okay for drugs. As far as I'm concerned, I would like to be President in 2008, and as your president I will not only de-criminalize pot, I'm gonna make it mandatory.

He might frown on it, but he never condemned anyone, in fact he loved me despite all the times I used drugs to numb the pain in my heart, before I knew him for real.

Jesus doesn't frown on anything. The point is would you frown on yourself for doing drugs?
I think anyone who argues for anything (say, one's enjoyment of drugs) doesn't completely believe it's O.K., or they wouldn't bother arguing.

properly, confident, yet with a undertaking. i think of for the quick run, it could be legalized to decrease crime and expenses. yet, for the long-term, i think of all drugs could be supplanted by ability of 5-sense digital actuality. as quickly as this occurs, optimistically maximum folk won't even think of to apply drugs (which might nonetheless be criminal) exterior of scientific purposes. So, i think of as quickly as we communicate approximately legalization, we could constantly be conversing approximately coming up an determination to drugs frequently as area of our rational. no longer purely could this make legalization sound greater beautiful to maximum critics imo, even with the undeniable fact that it may additionally be a case of being forward-thinking, that's what society desperately desires. i'm from New Mexico, btw.
