I can't spend more than 9k. I want a 97 or newer. I want a hard top. I want AC, and a 5 speed manual. I have been told to only buy a 6 cyl. What else should I look for?

i own a repair shop and all the options you are looking for are easy to find in a wrangler, there nice vehicle to own,i do some work on them ,but there really reliable and fun to drive also,i know of at least 25 of them around where i live there are a lot of hills here in Tennessee, and in the winter it gets hard to drive on them, when it gets slick,,,jeeps always go good, though, for the amount of money your talking about you should be able to find a real nice one for that amount,my neighbor just bought a real nice one and its a 99 for 7500 ,and its real low miles on it,so you should find a real good one,,good luck,i hope this help,s.

miles per gallon, they should have good plugs and you should get a chevrolet malaibu (spelled wrong) they are good on gas and are comfee and the ones around here are cheap (my cousin got one for about $7500 that is good) and that chevrolet will out run almost anything, they are great, think about it.and they last a long time and i am a big cevy fan. I work on them all the time. Good car

if you are not planning to go off roading with your jeep the you should think about a 4 Cly. They are better on fuel and for on roading have adequate power. Also cheaper then 6 Cly .
