1 Corinthians 6:9 puts the two together.
What! do you not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God's kingdom? Do not be misled
neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men. Nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God's kingdom.
So it also puts greed, idolaters: which can mean anything that you worship besides God. Do you see the distinction between men kept for unnatural purposes and men who lie with men.
They had male and female temple prostitutes. These men where not always homosexual. But they were kept to be used by wicked men, possible who was.

If you live by the Christian Teachings you would know that God is no respecter's of Persons and that a Sin is a Sin, if it goes against the ten commandments and the teachings of Jesus.
God loves the Adulterer or Adulteress, Jesus said to the woman he met at the well, go and sin no more, your sins are forgiven.
He would say the same to any Sinner, repent and sin no more. It is that simple. There is no degree in Sin, a Sin is a Sin and Jesus loves all Sinners.

Hi Birdbrain. The truth is God does not see any difference in sins. Whether it be lying, stealing, murder, homosexuality, or adultery. One sin is enough to send you to Hell.
You will not find anywhere in the Bible the concept that God deplores one sin more than another. There is only one sin that will not be forgiven and that is blasphemy.
Jesus speaking in John 5:24-25 preaches: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. 25 Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live."

ok Bird brain , sin is sin. however some are greater than others. I would think adultery would be because they took an oath under God. Homosexuality however....well they just live in sin. do I make sense?

One is not greater or lesser than the other. Sin is sin... both are unacceptable to God.
1 John 3:4, "Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness."

Both are equally sin in the Bible. According to the OT, both carried the death penalty.

An adulterer gets stoned to death. a homosexual is only shunned by the Christians. According to their Bible. In the real world they murder homosexuals and make adulterers the heads of the church, except for the catholics who do the exact opposite.

God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for the sin of homosexuality (sodomy).
God destroyed the city of Jerusalem for the sin of spiritual adultery.
Looks like a tie to me ...

Why would someone need to answer that question? The only reason I can see would be to compare the guilt of sinners and that act of judgement does not belong to anyone but God.
All sin is repulsive to God. All sin should be avoided.

Well adultury is in the 10 commandments, whereas the only place in the bible that says homosexuality is not ok (it doens't even list it as sinful, but rather unhealthy) is Leviticus...the same book that lists eating pork, shellfish, and mixing fabrics as taboo.
