If we allow them to attack us and God without answering them with scriptural facts then we are allowing them to try to convince those who not strong in their faith that they may be right and that we are cowards.
Remember, the anti-Christ is always busy trying to win souls away from God.
So are all the other anti-Christs on this site.
Be strong in the Lord.

Who determines that a question is "to pull people away from God"? You? Some Yahoo jury? People often ask about things they really aren't sure about. Some could be seen as a challenge to Christianity, certainly, but if your religion is not capable of standing up to questioning, how strong is it? There are whole groups of Christians who question their religion, the Bible, everything (the Jesuits spring to mind). How can you deny anyone the right to question their own or others' beliefs?

First of all I hardly need to address the arrogance of your post that proposes to explain what non-believers do and don't know when if you're as ignorant as most believers, you don't even know what you think you know. You cannot be pulled away from your make-believe god any more than a four year old can be pulled away from their invisible playmate, except that at least a four year old knows invisible people are just pretend.
It's part of polemics (you'll obviously need to look that one up), as Paul demonstrates in Romans, to demonize your opposition by not only asserting their actions to be evil, but that they know them to be so and delight in the evil itself, and thus deserve to be ignored if not murdered.
Like you I thought I knew myself to be right about theism and Christianity in particular being divine truth. Unlike you I went seeking the evidence, and what I found proved to me I'd been suckered, just like you. I can't prove there is no god, only that there's no reason to believe there is a god with which we need to concern ourselves. But proof that Christianity is a fraud is manifold and undeniable, and that is on the evidence, not on faith. So my motive is not to say things I know to be wrong, but to challenge a fraud, and if possible, motivate the victims of this fraud to examine an unexamined faith, and if possible, to base their lives on reality, and not act from religious delusion. There is no other possibility to move humanity forward with the world constantly embroiled in religious conflicts over matters about which no one can certainly know, though they can stubbornly maintain they do.
Don't answer if that suits you. Don't engage if you're not able or interested. It hardly matters in the long run.

Because they are looking for reasons to pull away and they are not really sure of their decision so maybe something a person might say will bring them back into the folds of God with a little more understanding.........................

Perhaps they really want to know about God? Sometimes people are just confused. I remember times when my children came to me and knew they were doing things I didn't approve of.
They made excuses and why they did it and tried to make me accept there bad conduct. I just read them a scripture and helped them to reason on it. they told me later it helped them from making even more mistakes with their lives.
So it works! Just don't let them change you.

Pray and ask God to lead you on what to say or not to say. Alot of people want answers, but it is their inter- demons fighting within them that make them ask strange questions.

Or give them a good Godly answer they can possibly ponder. We can set the table for them in what we do, but it is up to them in the end to come eat!

so are you afraid that you might not be able to answer? I think a person who tries group action to escape fear is doomed anyway.
