I'm sure you've had a dog in your lifetime. You loved it?

Were you into Bestiality?

No, because we have to distinguish four types of love.

There is *eros,* which is sexual or romantic love (which is only legitimate between a man and a woman); *storge* which is affectionate love (e.g. between family members and even between animals and people); *philia,* which is friendship love (which can be legitimately between members of the same sex or for many people); and *agape,* which is unselfish love simply for the sake of giving as God gives.

So the love between John and Jesus would include storge, philia, and agape, and not eros.

Similarly many people think that Jonathan and David in the Bible were homosexuals because it was related that they loved each other.

But that would be philia love.

Come on, you are grasping at straws here. It is OKAY for a person to come into contact with another!! People were made to be part of community with each other, not perverted like homosexuality, but pure. Jesus was a PURE man who genuinely loved people, man or woman, and not in a sexual sense.

Most of the Republicans are coming out of the closet. I think that condones it. Love does not equal sex, so your question isn't even a valid question.

No, it does not condone homosexuality. If you extract that sentence in context it may appear that way, but in reality there are MANY more instances in the Bible that specifically note that homosexuality is a sin.

I think you're reading that with the wrong definition of the word "love" in mind. And I also think you are just trying to get a rise.
