I sent it express mail via USPO; but didn't have tracking information. I lost $40 to company.

I was dish network customer until they refused to give me their "new customer offers" after two years of loyal business. I said thanks, canceled my subscription, changed to DirecTV.

I can't believe that dish network has a 40 remote. If it is the UHF remote, go buy one on ebay for 10 and then return that one, overall will be cheaper than 40.

Then cancel and go with someone else.

Dish network dose not require you to return broken remotes. If you purchased one through them that's what the cost was for. Also dish network includes pre paid return labels for either UPS or FedEx if the want you to return it. If you spent $40 to send it through the mail....well you didn't need to do that.
