I don't think being a minuteman is a good idea. They are breaking laws themselves. Let the "hired guns" do their jobs.

Bit on the fence about them.Depending on what side you hear you hear that they have caused the decline of illegal immigrants entering into the U.S or that they cause more problems for the border patrol in regards to letting them do their job.I have to say i neither applaud nor hate them.just don't care much for them.I mean after seeing that stunt they pulled at that university makes me wonder just how civil they are.and yes I know the students caused the uproar but they didn't fall too far behind in kicking and shoving along with them.Weren't they suppose to be the adults in that forum?And i'm sure they would be facing opposition when they visited there I cannot believe they didn't have any plan of action which they could take to make a quick exit if things got out of hand like they did.It was all just like watching a jerry springer episode,with the adults acting as bad as the kids.

Proud to be a member of the Minutemen organization.
Nexus K, I'm not sure what newscast you watch but it was the students causing the disturbance.
The adults defending themselves and being escorted out with police protection.
Show me the report from the Border Patrol that says the Minutemen has interfered with them doing their duty.

They have an opinion. One which may have very valid points. Regardless, however, they are allowed to have it, no matter how unpopular it may be with some other groups.
I favor legal entry, verification of status, and extension of residency to those who can prove their worth to the community.
But, for those who do not wish to live here permanantly, and have their families here, I show no desire to extend the same hospitality, unless they can show they have the means to be here as guests.
