I've been talking w/ this girl for about a month now and we've been getting slowly closer in respects of friends. She just broke up with her fiance about 8 months ago and is kinda getting "more comfortable" with me. I'm not sure wether to cross the lines of friendship into something more. It's hard to read her, although we definatley have those moments when we look each other in the eye just for that brief period that would show definate intrest.

I'm having troubles interpreting this scenario for tonight. she comes to my place walking her dog, ask if anyone is around, and if I would like to watch a horror movie with her at her apartment around 10pm because she doesn't like watching them alone.

Do I interpret this as the potential for more? Or, Is it just a friendly invitation?

It sounds to me like she wants an excuse to get close to you. Looks like you are doing well. Given her past situation, it is best to play it safe and go at her pace though. I think there is potential, but you have to be willing to let her continue to get comfortable with you for as long as it takes.

Women want only one thing....a strong man who loves them.

If she is looking to you for reassuring protection from feeling scared about a horror movie, it means she thinks you might be that for her.

She might as well have walked up to you and said..."Hi. I like you so I'm giving you this opportunity to show me you can be a big strong man who protects me and my babies and that you really care about me so that I can count on you to stay and take care of us instead of being distracted by some whore or bad habits and other stupidity". Because that is exactly what she meant.

So give her what she wants. Be a strong man who loves her. Watch the horror movie with her, be with her, hold her. Then show her that you really care about her. Intimate time alone with her where you demonstrate these two qualities moves things rather quickly away from being "friends" towards being lovers.

Don't blow it.

That replaced into thoroughly sexist. :P It needless to say relies upon on the lady. i like action video clips the main, yet i'm able to delight in a solid horror action picture of the few i've got seen. solid lord, Stereotypers are so stressful.

depends on how she said it, was it like hey what's up or was it a little more alluring?
all depends on how badly she was hurt with the break up to, she might be a little unsure what she wants at this point
