If Jesus is believed to be GOD because he could do miracles, he could heal leprosy, he could cause blind men to see, or raise the dead, then what about the others who performed the same miracles?
Elisha and Elijah fed a hundred people with twenty barley loaves and a few ears of corn (2 Kings 4:44). Elisha told Naaman, who was a leper, to wash in the river Jordan (2 Kings 5:14) and he was healed. Elisha caused a blind man to see in (2 Kings 6:17,20). Elijah and Elisha raised the dead in (1 Kings 17:22, and 2 Kings 4:34). Even Elisha's dead bones restored a dead body in (2 Kings 13:21). Indeed Jesus had prophesied that people will worship him uselessly and will believe in doctrines not made by GOD but by men "But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (Matthew 15:9)"
In Matthew 15:9 above, we see Jesus warning that Trinity (the bogus lie) will dominate, and people will take Jesus as GOD and worship him, which is a total sin according to what Jesus said !!.

According to modern scholarship, Paul was a Gnostic:

Paul wrote his letters to churches in seven cities, which are known to have been centers of Gnostic Christianity during the second century. One thing is for sure: if Paul really were as anti-Gnostic as the Literalists claim, then it is astounding how many Gnostic texts quote him or are actually attributed to him. The ultra-conservatives keep insisting on a “physical” resurrection of Jesus. Paul, whose work pre-dates the first Gospel, insists on the exact opposite. His fifteenth chapter of 1 Corinthians could not possibly be clearer. I invite you to read to reread that passage for yourself. This passage is almost pure Platonism. Paul knows only a spiritual resurrection. (Tom Harper, The Pagan Christ, p. 174)
The Gnostic plan of salvation was radically different from the Literalists. The Literalists today are insisting that salvation is attained through the “blood of Christ”, yet the “blood of Christ” has failed to solve mankind’s problems.

You forgot the most important miracle; the Resurrection. That confirmed He (Jesus) was more than man.

Just because Jesus performed miracles didn't necessarily mean he was God. Even witches could do "miracles". What made him God was his fulfillment of the prophies and what he did to open the door to man's salvation. That's why he is considered to be God or better yet the Son of God or Second Person of the Trinity.

I HATE that renark about the bogus lie. That was uncalled for. And anyway, Elisha and Elijah could do those things because they actually talked to God and they did those miracles in His name.

The miracles are not what made Him God. He was the fulfillment of prophecy. The miracles were His acts. And there is no trinity. He was God manifest in the flesh.

yes they to did all these miracles but it was only through their believe in God that they did them. Jesus sent out his disciples to do these exact things in the new testament. It's through their believe in him that they performed them.
