Muslims think Abraham was asked to sacrifice Ismael, when in fact the Bible clearly states it was Issac! Why did Mohamad think he could change God's word? Doesn't this make him a FALSE PROPHET?

Muslims have their own view of history and Scripture. How dare you challenge their authority with your facts!!! What are you trying to do.......tell the truth or something?

PST, PLZ....

Muhammad according to Muslims could say or do no wrong and is a great example for humanity!!! He may not have been very Godly, inspired, moral, innocent, or anywhere near a prophet, but heee.........uh....well uh.....he was.....ARAB......ya he was Arab....so take that!!! BELIEVE ALREADY!!!! : P

No, it does not make Mohammad a false prophet. The controversy stems fro the fact that the Bible states, "Then God said, "Take your son, your only son..." Although Issac was the son of Abraham, he was the second son, not the only son. Ishmael was Abraham's first and only son for years before Issac was born.

My sources tell me that the name of Ishmael being the sacrifice is not mentioned in the Qur'ân, but it is an Islamic tradition.

Since it is considered that Ishmael is considered the father of the Arabs and Issac is considered the father of the Israelites, the importance of the person being sacrificed is great to each group, much like two children in the sand box claiming to be better than the other and squabbling over trivial things.

There is so much contradiction in that particular story of the Bible, not just with that identity, it is difficult to say what is truly accurate.

Muslim did not change the Bible because there were no Muslims at that time.

Why not test the authenticity of the Bible: (I'm not saying its false but it was changed through the ages)

Can you supply a copy of the original scriptures of the WHOLE Bible?

In Aramaic? and in Hebrew? not Latin or Greek because Jesus did not speak Latin or Greek!

This is a reason why God sent the Quran (which is unchanged for 1400 years)

Why the public aren't allowed to view full copy/translations of the Dead Sea Scrolls found in the 1950's? what is the Church Hiding?

The people who changed the Bible are the ones' who were/are in high places for their political gain - especially during the Catholic Church Rule in the Medieval Times.

There are many references in the Bible that refers to the coming of Mohammed and the Quran, but the Catholic Church have programmed the christian mind to never question their own Bible.

In fact, if a Muslim was born in the days of Jesus, David or the other prophets, they would follow them!

Lastly, how could Muslims be terrorists if alqaeda hamas etc did not exist 30 years ago? these fanatics are political groups using the Islamic faith as an inspiration, its like someone steals your Christian faith and use its inspiration as a weapon for their own political agendas.

God bless all.

Yes Mo just passed along the stories that "blew through the desert" and got distorted during every sirocco.

So much for the little Village god telling him the straight goods!

My UNfavourite quote from the Unholy Quaran is;

"Not Jesus, but a look alike, was substituted and crucified at the Cross." -4:157
THIS IS BLASPHEMY - AND A LIE! No proof can be offered at all.

This is too funny. There are more than 26 versions of the Bible. They are ALL different! You have to realize that the world is bigger than just Christianity. I suggest that you take a Comparative Religion class.

"The Exile and Diaspora of the Jews brought us a Bible that was originally written in a mixture of Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic. With the spread of Christianity, the scriptures were translated into various languages. By the 5th century CE, portions of the Bible were available in seven additional languages. At the time of the Reformation there were Bibles or portions of it in 33 languages (out of 6000!). With the passing of the centuries the original documents were lost. (It is not even clear that anyone in those days considered that their preservation was important.) Most versions of the Bible available were retranslations of translations (or worse). Until the time of the Masoretes (5th to 12th centuries CE), there was no rigorous system for ensuring the accuracy of copying and editing."
