I hate to be negative but I don't think we'll see a peaceful world until Jesus return. People are not willing to compromise anymore. Look at what NKorea just did. I hope and pray for a peaceful future for our little ones but I don't see it coming any time soon.

If you want to leave, set up a support system BEFORE you take your child and leave. Speak with an atty. I would be extrememly reluctant to stay in such a situation where anger management is an issue. Kids would rather BE from a broken home, than live IN one. Care enough about yourself and your child to provide a safe and secure future. !3 years is a long time without some type of therapy or wanting to seek outside help and affect a change. He is a prideful man, and pride goeth before the fall. His "good working skills" mean he is capable of child support and alimony while you get back on your feet. Protect yourself.

EVIL = VIOLENCE. So sorry to have to tell you this but there's no hope in he**, as the saying goes. There are very evil human beings out there in the big ole world right now and there have always been evil human beings. The best you can do is to educate them about what can happen. Don't talk to strangers, lock your doors, home and car and don't be too trusting of anyone. Listen to your gut....it's never wrong. Plenty of info on the internet on how to educate them without scaring them to bad but they do need to be scared a little.

As a mother myself i hope the same or at least i pray that thing do not get worse. This country was built on violence. I guess we have to have a lot of optimism to believe that something will be done.

Not as long as we continue to condone violence in our homes on a daily basis. Look at the games the kids play these days, the videos and television shows. Our kids are so desensitized to violence. And heaven forbid if we, as parents, try to teach our kids wrong from right these days!

We can always hope but I don't believe that there will be a non-violent future. The best we can do is try to prepare our children and teach them ways to deal with it.

There has always been violence in the world, and there always
will be. The best we can do is have peace within ourselves and in our homes.

Not a chance. It's a violent world, always has been and always will be. But not to worry----Before George gets through there probably won't be a world to worry about.

Children learn by watching their parents.
If you are in an absive household, then your kids will seek the same life.
