Okay. I'm in the process of finishing my first ever major movie role. I think it's gonna be a hit movie when it comes out. The producers all think so too. I'm really, really happy about this but, I'm afraid of fans. Like, I'm afraid they will be 'fake' and not real fans that actually like my work, but only like me because I was on a movie. I hate the thought of that. That is one of the few things I hate most about this. How can I avoid fake fans? How can I tell if they are fake or real fans?

Why did you become an actress if you have such a hangup? I mean, if at one day you thought you'd become famous or semi-famous, wouldn't you have thought of this question before now? You treat all fans exactly alike. They are fans and you appreciate them for the fact that they have seen your movies, but that is all they are, fans. So, if you still have this phobia how will you be able to function in public when you have to stand up and be counted by your very loyal fans real and fake?

I honestly was kinda shocked when I read this question, if you truly are up and coming you are really not smart to be asking such naive and pathetic questions, I'm sure your "agent" would not be impressed to find this out, especially seeing as you also have links to a picture of you on another page. I really think the best advice I can give you is to get help, I know you are young and I am not trying to be mean and am saying this in full seriousness, please seek someone to talk to, even a mentor or something. I think you must have pretty severe self image issues and you need to realize that you are a beautiful girl and do not need to try to compensate for anything.

Don't worry about fake fans... it's not like you will be close friends with them. The most important thing for you is to keep those close to you, who were always there for you even before your "major" or "hit" movie role.

Real fans lurk in your bushes outside your bedroom window with crumpled pictures of you in their pockets.Real fans convince themselves you are talking to them-AND ONLY THEM!-in all your love scenes.Real fans will go to jail before admitting that you are not married them.Real fans have 120 gig hard drives full of photoshopped pics if you in many interesting poses.

You really can't, unless they dont know anything about you. If they know about you and can tell you what other movies you have been in then they are real fans

As long as you have a job i wouldn't worry about it..i mean you shouldn't put your trust in fans they can turn on you like buttermilk...You should be secure in the fact that you are a great actress and that you have the support of your family...

Don't worry about other peoples thoughts you do what you do and enjoy doing and keep on doing no one makes it big over night and don't let people hurt your feelings stop worrying and be you.Good luck..
