If celebrating holidays that have pagan origins is okay, then why did God punish the Israelites for trying to take false worship while changing and calling it a worship to the Almighty God?

"X"... Humanities, Philosophies and Metaphysics don't seem to have any God origin other than imperfect human opinions and ideas... don't they?

I am not sure I follow your train of thought for this question, but as far as X's studies being imperfect human interpretations (opinions) and ideas is a bit of a misnomer. All religions (Christianity included) are based on human interpretations of the religion an individual follows, or opinions if you prefer that term, of the divine. So many mortals (myself included) have at times or are currently attempting to force or coerce others into there religion. The few exceptions to this are Hinduism, some (if not all forms of) Paganism, and from what I have personally seen Judaism.

First, Religion and Faith are two different things.

Faith is the TRUE Spiritual, "thing".

Religion is WHAT you DO to act out your Faith.

Religions have morphed over the millenia to include parts of all the previous ones. The story's basically the same but the names have been changed. That is the simplest answer to your question.

The Israelites had this real bad habit of idolatry. Our holidays dont depend on foreign Gods but typically past events or people. Worship has nothing to do with it.

Humanity continues to evolve in spiritual awareness from paganistic to God dwells within you as you. hinduism (RIG VEDAS) is the root of christianity, buddhism and islam. one cannot work higher mathematics without simple arithmetic. Because pagans worshiped on their level of understanding,as the LAW was on the level of understanding during mose's time. and LOVE GOD and thy neighbor as thy self was in Jesus's time, now it is time to live in full spiritual awareness that GOD DWELLS WITHIN YOU AS YOU. Metaphysics tries to explain the invisable laws of GOD.

I think it is more important what people celebrate the pagan holiday were people get in debt to impress one another or Jesus' birth? some bunny who hides eggs or the resurection of Almighty Jesus?

reason that's exciting. Duh. The context of the Christian named holidays is Christian. As a pagan, i'm able to assure you that i'm not celebrating the beginning or dying of Christ. The TRADITIONS are pagan sure. yet they are exciting, so who cares?

See, all the religions are paganistic in one form or another. Believe in yourself.
