I don't remember the exact amount but when my son was a child he and my nephew actually tried this and sent the answer to the Tootsie Roll company. In return for their efforts they received a certificate from the company with a letter of thanks. Not even a coupon. Oh well. But they thought it was a very nice acknowledgment of their efforts.
