i just had surgery and my daughter asked me this.
so if i robed a bank and left blood evidence and you donated blood would your blood DNA evidence be there?

just curious i did not get blood nor am i going to rob a bank.

At best, if you were able to rob the bank before the blood had been in you for 24 hours, a trace amount of the other DNA might be present, but as the WBCs are the only nucleated cells present (rbcs have no nuclei and platelets are only cytoplasmic fragments), and they only survive 24 hours, not likely, as someone who needed a transfusion is unlikely to be up and around within that time frame. Add to the equation that the other person's blood would have to be donated and transfused within the 24 hour time frame of a WBC lifespan.
