First of all, have you had the studs in your ears for at least a month? And you've been really good about cleaning and turning them? No sign of any infection, right?

Either go back to Claire's and ask someone there for help, or ask someone at home to help you remove the studs. Make sure all hands that touch your ear are clean (as in, wash them with soap first). The studs they put in when you first get your ears pierced are put in with a "gun", and are pretty well "locked" in to make sure they don't fall out (which would cause new holes to close up pretty quickly). They are DESIGNED to be difficult to remove. You (or a helper) need to kind of get your fingernail under the back of the post (the piece on the back of your earlobe), and give it a good yank. Don't be surprised if it hurts a bit - you are removing something that has kind of made itself really comfortable just where it is.

Just make sure that the hoops are made out of a real precious metal - like gold or sterling silver - to avoid any irritation or allergic reaction. Also make sure you thoroughly clean the hoops before they go in your ears, with the same stuff you've been using...and continue to clean the holes daily, no matter what earrings you are wearing. New piercings are very prone to infection, and it would be a shame - and painful! - if you had to go through this "hole" thing all over again.

Good luck, and may you have many years of accessorizing!!!

WHATEVER YOU DO,
Don't yank them out. Wash your hands FIRST!!!!
Get some Claire's solution, and twist and clean the earring and ear. Repeat for other side. Take the back in your fingers, and hold the front. Wiggle the back while twisting the front. Or twist both of them, but in opposite directions. Wiggle some more if they don't come out.
I've had my earrings in for over a year. My STARTER EARRINGS. I haven't taken them out yet. But I'm planning to soon.. :)

Try putting peroxide on the back of the earring and pull the back off.If that doesn't work go to Claires and tell them your story and see what they can do.Also try getting someone to pinch the studs and you pull the back off.

the ones from claire's are actually really tough.
i struggled so much with them when i first tried to take them off..
you literally just have to pull it hard, but make sure the direction that you pull it is aligned with the hole or it could bleed a bit.
the easiest way i found was to hold the stud with your balls of index and thumb tips and use the ball of your thumb and the nail of your index finger on the backing..
good luck

Try using some vaseline to make it more slippery. I know, they are so tough to et off at first. But they come off real easy after that. Or use some peroxide. I know I had to have my mom help me the first time.

what they said above...but before you take them out make sure that u just didnt get them in...u should have them in for a week or so before taking them out or else the hole will close rather quickly.
