First rule of smokeless tobacco - don't ignite it.

Second rule - swollow, don't spit. (Why should the rest of us have to slide and skid through your slimmy brown puddles?)

You don't. It causes cancer of the throat and mouth. The tissue in your mouth is super sensitive and can be damaged very easily.
Check out these really gross pictures of what it looks like to have cancer in your mouth and you may change your mind! http://www.quittobacco.com/facts/effects.htm
DANGER SIGNS - If you use smokeless tobacco, or have in the past, you should be on the lookout for some of these early signs of oral cancer:

* A sore that does not heal
* A lump or white patch
* A prolonged sore throat
* Difficulty in chewing
* Restricted movement of the tongue or jaws
* A feeling of something in the throat

Pain is rarely an early symptom. For this reason, all tobacco users need regular dental check-ups.

Yes. Smokeless has been linked to oral and throat cancers.

You may not realize that it carries the same amount of risk for disease and cancer as smoking. And if you get throat cancer they cut your larynx out and you have a tracheostoma for the rest of your life-a huge gaping hole in your neck through which you breathe and expel mucus. Oh, and no vocal cords? one of those nifty sounding electronic voice boxes is your new best friend.
Of course,you could just get bone cancer in your jaw and they'll cut half your face off.
Think about it.

Don't use it, it will give you cancer in your mouth, just like regular tobocco. Besides, it's pretty disgusting to see someone using that thing.
