My cat is 6years old cat that is declawed, spayed, all shots, and uses the liter box. She is a short haired multi color indoor cat (black, grey, and white) and I really need to find her a good home. She would really good for someone without children and who has a love for cats. I am trying to find her a home because due to my asthma and allergies I cant keep her any longer. But I love her so much and I really want to find her a good home with some one who will love her and care for her. I live in Knoxville TN and I hope that someone will read this and be able to help me find her a good home.

Hi Rita...consider posting a free ad on either Petfinder http://www.petfinder.org or Knoxville Craigslist http://knoxville.craigslist.org/pet/

Be sure to state what you have written here, but also ask for a small fee (e.g. $15-30) to disuade those who are looking for a free animal to sell to a research facility, use for dog bait training or worse ...torture. Ask prospectives that you would like to conduct a home inspection once a month for several months to ensure the well-being of your kitty or that they will not give away the kitty again. At your discretion you could offer to refund the adoption fee once you feel the kitty has found a good home as well.

2 years ago i went to Minor Hill TN. to visit my family and came back with a lonely kitten who's brothers and sisters all were hit by cars.
what you need to do is get on allergy meds and keep the cat.
it would be a shame to switch owners now , it would be traumatic for her.
i would never dream or giving my baby away and my daughter is allergic to cats but her meds. help.she even sleeps with all our cats in her bed.
GOOD LUCK

Contact your local humane societies and ask them to post the cat's pictures and bio on various adoption websites like petfinder.com, pets911.com and 1-800-save-a-pet.com.

You can also post the cat yourself on craigslist.com and freecycle.org. The postings are free and reach thousands of people.

i don't think you should give away your cat especially since you've had her for awhile..whatever problem is going on you should try to solve it
