Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Whiskey
Fill with glass Ginger ale
4-5 cubes Ice
Mixing instructions:
fill a medium glass most of the way with ice, pour in 1 shot, about 1.5 ounces of whiskey, fill the rest of the way with ginger ale.

2 oz Whiskey or Scotch or Rum
Carbonated Water or Soda
1 twist of Lemon peel
Fill a highball glass with ice. Add the Whiskey/Scoth/Rum. Fill with Carbonated Water/Club Soda
Garnish with the twist of a lemon peel.

2 oz Whiskey or Scotch or Rum
5 ounces Ginger Ale
Pour into a highball glass over ice cubes and fill with Ginger Ale. Garnish with the twist of a lemon peel.

Yes but......in the early days of railroading a signal with a rope and ball was used to indicate to train drivers that it was safe to maintain speed through stations, ball up keep going, ball down stop at the station. More generally some lads have a situation with testicles that don't drop till late teens. Get the connection? In the early days of ice blocks (balls) the bar staff found the short glasses were unsatisfactory when topped up with ice. So the taller glasses where called highball glasses. As to my nickname....your never going to know!

Yes it is, mix rum, ice and coke, and there is a Cuba Libre ..four drops of lemon and it will taste nice. but remember you have to be 21 to drink and never drink and drive that is a very bad highball ok ?
